Give yourself a new beginning

It is never to late to change the direction of your life, no matter what point in life you are at, change is always possible.

We all get easily wrapped up in what we believe we should achieve by certain points in our life, the mile stones of our lives.  Where we should be career wise, meeting a partner, getting your own home, starting a family to just name a few.  We forget that we are individuals and that in reality those mile stones mean nothing if we are not able to enjoy them, in the present moment.  We forget that we are individuals, every persons life is different, we all have different challenges that we all deal with in different ways, we shouldn't judge ourselves or our lives by someone else's measurements.

We lose parts of ourselves along the way.  We no longer find fulfillment and joy in the life we have created, something is missing, lost or forgotten.  Most often that forgotten, lost or missing piece is your own wellbeing.  Every part of our lives make up our wellbeing:

  • relationships
  • family and friends
  • health and fitness
  • business and career
  • finances
  • recreation
  • personal growth
  • spirituality and religion
  • environment
  • creativity

Making the changes you need for your own wellbeing can look daunting, where do you start, what do you actually need to do to start making those change, what will people think, how hard will it be are questions we start asking ourselves. Look at the 10 areas of wellbeing above, how happy are you on a scale of 1 to 10 are you with each area?

Take some time to reflect on your life so far.  Small steps, just one at a time is all you need to do to start making those changes you need.

What was amazing? How did you feel at the time? What did you do to feel that? How did that impact you?

What wasn't good? How did it make you feel? What was your part in feeling that? How did it impact you?

What do you need more of in your life, what little steps could you take to start bringing this into your life?

What do you need less of in your life, what little steps could you take to start removing this from your life?

I am terrible at goal setting and have struggled in the past with breaking things down into more manageable goals. You have really helped me out with working out what realistic goals are, how to achieve them and how to break down the steps needed to reach them into smaller, more manageable steps.
I honestly can never thank you enough
